Hi Friends, comments are fixed! SORRY! :)
First of all, thanks to everyone who has been checking my blog..........I apologize for not having updated it. It has taken from March 5 until this Tuesday, March 31 to get an appointment with the oncologist in California. After calling UK Hospital every single day for three weeks, my paperwork was finally faxed/found, etc. My best piece of advice at this point is to take control of your records! You cannot count on someone at a doctor's office to fax, email, Fed-Ex, etc.......if your health is dependent on that information being sent, please be sure to check and double check! I waited on pins and needles to find out whether I was accepted into USC's program, only to discover that my medical records had never left Markey Cancer Center. Anyhow, my doctor's name is Lynda Roman and she has done more trechelectomys than any other doctor in the country.....hopefully she will tell me my surgery is soon! If you want to learn more about my surgery, read the story of Raquel Rivas, she was one of the first to ever have the surgery in the US:

We are all excited about our trip..........if anyone has suggestions of what to do while we are there, please let me know! We have pretty much decided on the beach and Disneyland.....maybe Universal? Everyone says we'll only have one day of free time but I'm thinking Mom, Dad and Chad are going to get bored staring at me in a hospital bed, and quite frankly I'm cranky when I'm sick!
I am going to try to make a trip to Cadiz before I leave. If I dont have your contact information, please email it to me at lindsey.holland@jpi.com.........I would like to see as many people as possible. If any of you are participating in Relay for Life, please let me know..........if I can walk/travel I would like to go!
Love you all, I'll keep you posted!! <3
